Interventional Radiology Tech

Overview

Schedule: Monday–Friday, dayshift
Shift: 07:00–15:30
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Interventional Radiology Technologist must be able to perform and assist with Interventional Radiology exams.

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New York
ARRT
Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with CT/Ultrasound guided biopsies
Experience with Embolizations
Experience with Port Placements
Experience with IVC filters
Experience with PCN catheters and exchanges
Experience with Chest tubes
Experience with Paracentesis
Experience with Thoracentesis

Examples of Procedures

CT/Ultrasound guided biopsies

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
