Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Akron, Ohio
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
• 40 hours per week

• Will circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases
• Call is required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
• Background check required prior to start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required monthly
• HHS/OIG required monthly
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of the signed contract
• Education verification required
• State license verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Certification is required for Tele, ICU, CVICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, MICU, Clinical Decisions, ER, Observation, MS/Tele, TCU, Stepdown, and SNF
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III are required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap required every 10 years
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 12 months of start
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella documentation are required
• Standard 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Flu documentation required by October 31 for current candidates and for new candidates onboarded between October 31 and March 31
• Snellen eye exam required within 1 year
• 2 references required
• Employment application must include 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• Skills checklist required annually
