OT Acute Care Hospital

Overview

Role: Hospital Acute Care OT
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Start date: ASAP - 11/2
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts
Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 7:30 16:00
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
Background check required within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, county searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school, nationwide search, and sex offender search
Wisconsin - Caregiver Search Results required within 90 days of start
2 professional references verified within 2 years of start
Photo for badge
Confidentiality statement signed prior to start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Drug testing within 14 days of start
Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
Skills checklist required annually
Competency exam required as applicable to profession/specialty

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
