NICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Greenwich, Connecticut
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- Every 3rd weekend
- Floating required if needed for the department
- 13-week contract
- 186-bed facility
- Magnet and teaching hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- Experience working with NICU Level 3 or NICU Level 4 patients
- Experience with Neonate patients
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience with feedings (bottle, breast, gavage)
- Experience with placement and management of oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes
- Experience with and knowledge of isolation precautions
- Experience with arterial line management
- Experience with central line and implanted line care
- Experience with umbilical line (UAC/UVC) management
- Experience with IV vasopressors
- Experience with Epic
