Overview

Travel/contract role in Olney, Maryland
Start date: ASAP
13-week contract
Weekly orientation on Monday
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
Scrubs provided
Flu vaccine required

Schedule

Day shift
40 hours per week
Shift pattern: 2x8 Day ALT START (0645-1515/1045-1915) plus 2x12 Day (0645-1915)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with complex general surgery

Additional Assignment Details

On-call shifts may be assigned
One 12-hour “buddy call” orientation shift is required within the first 2 weeks of the contract
Up to 5 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
