NICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Spartanburg, South Carolina
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- Start date: 10/12
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit / Specialty
- NICU Level II & III required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE
Scheduling / Commitment
- Holiday form required
- One of the following is required:
- 1 holiday with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or
- 2 holidays with no on-call/additional shifts
Compliance / Onboarding
- Photo ID required
- Social Security Card required only if used on the I-9 as supporting documentation
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Background check required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
- Diploma or transcript from highest level of education required
- Education verification required
- High school diploma/GED verification required
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required
- State License 1 verification required
- NURSYS verification required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Competency exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Photo for badge required
- TB risk assessment and symptom evaluation required within 3 months of start and updated annually
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 3 months of start
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Drug Testing, Flu documentation, COVID documentation, and RespSafety clearance required as applicable
Notes
- On-call requirement: late stay if needed
- Pending license is accepted if obtained before start
- Attendance policy applies; contract may be reviewed for cancellation if more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without reasonable explanation
