ICU Float Pool RN
Role Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in an ICU Float Pool.
- Travelers will float between 2 campuses and may float to 5 ICU specialties and step-down units, including a pulmonary step-down unit.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00.
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
- On-call is not required.
- Block scheduling is not available.
- Guaranteed hours are included.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Critical Care Float experience
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated.
Additional Notes
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.
- Parking is $125/month.
- Epic charting is used.
