Description

OT Acute Care Hospital

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Randallstown, Maryland
Day shift: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 5x8 hours
Typically Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
1:1 ratio
14-week contract
Adult and geriatric patient population
Approximately 200 beds
Orientation is approximately 40 hours or one week
Eligible for auto offer
Locals accepted
No on-call requirement
No block schedule accommodation
First-timers not accepted
One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland
Occupational Therapist with 2 years of experience
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience working with Stroke patients
Experience working with Spinal Cord Injury patients
Experience working with Orthopedics patients
Experience with CVA rehabilitation
Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's
Experience with upper-extremity conditions

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
