Operating Room

Role Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN OR assignment in Aurora, Colorado
  • Unit: 41 ORs, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Shift: 12-hour days, 6:45 start; occasional float to 8:45 and 10:45 starts, and occasional float to nights
  • Weekend and on-call coverage as needed
  • Floating: may float to other UCH ORs
  • Ratio: 1:1
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
  • Experience with Epic

  • GU/GYN
  • Neuro
  • ENT
  • Plastic

Additional Notes

  • Guaranteed hours: No
  • RTO limit: 10 days maximum approved
  • RTO not allowed during specified blackout dates

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
