MRI Tech

Overview

  • Travel/contract assignment in Fort Worth, Texas
  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Part-time schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • 30 hours per week
  • Orientation includes training at the main hospital during the first week, then the assignment continues at Viola Pitts Clinic

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Siemen's XA software and EPIC EMR
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMIT
  • BLS
  • State license verification for the role’s discipline
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Background check
  • Education verification of initial related degree and most recent degree
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • TB questionnaire
  • Rubeola (Measles) immunity or vaccination documentation
  • Mumps immunity or vaccination documentation
  • Rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
  • Hepatitis B documentation
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Two references verified within 1 year of start
  • Skills checklist, updated annually and not expiring within 30 days of start
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
  • Competency exam
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
  • Occupational health appointment before start

Preferred

  • Certified by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
