ER
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Hagerstown, Maryland
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 48 hours per week
- 15-week contract
- 54-bed ER in a Level 2 Trauma Center with high-acuity patients
- Average volume: about 220 patients per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
- 2-step PPD and flu vaccine required; no exemptions
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Hepatitis B proof of positive titer, vaccination, or declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity by titer or vaccination
Scheduling
- No set weekend rotation
- May be scheduled up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling period
- Night shift team members may be assigned up to 3 Sundays in a scheduling period
Additional Notes
- Locals are accepted
- Vaccines are required with no exemptions
