RN/HH Days
Overview
- Home health RN assignment in Glen Carbon, Illinois
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Average volume: 5–20 visits per day
- Territory radius: 40–80 miles
- First-timers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Home Health (1 year of experience)
- Home Health experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience in a Home Care setting
- Experience with orthopedic or post-orthopedic/joint surgery care
- Experience with wound vac management
- Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Phlebotomy
- Pending license not accepted
- Local candidates not accepted
- On-call required after hours and weekends, including every 3rd to 4th weekend as needed

Clinical Focus
- Home care nursing with clinical nursing, PT, and OT in the home
- Common visit types include wound care, wound vac, IV therapy, post-ortho/joint care, incision assessment follow-up, post-surgical assessment/complications, post-stroke care, pneumonia, patient education, trach care, GTube feedings, and ADL assessment
- OASIS documentation experience
- Experience with wound vac, glucometer, pro-time machine/PT/INR, IV pumps, and central lines/ports
Additional Details
- Clinicians are assigned to a POD covering a group of zip codes and may assist other PODs if needed
- Mileage is reimbursed
