Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:15 AM–6:45 PM
- 13-week contract
- The unit does not accept first-time travelers
- Resource will be part of the back-up call team
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event
- Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- 3 years of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with complex general surgery
- Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
- Experience with GU/GYN surgery
- Experience with colorectal surgery
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications

Additional Notes
- On-call is required as part of the back-up call team
- Shift coverage is 0615–1845
