Pediatrics (Nights)
Overview
- Temp Registered Nurse (RN) role in Des Moines, Iowa.
- 13-week contract.
- Nights shift.
Unit / Setting
- Pediatric unit serving Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties.
- Bed size: 23.
- Ratios: 1:3-5.
Float Scope
- May float across NICU, B4 hema/onc, PICU, Peds ED, ED boarders, and Peds onc/hem when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- Pediatrics experience.
- Pediatric Med Surg (1 year of experience).
- Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year.
- Experience with Epic.
- Driver's License.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association.
Preferred
- Professional reference/reference check from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months.
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are welcomed.
- Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
- NBO: 16 hrs.
