ER RN

Overview

Travel/contract ER RN in Camden, New Jersey
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Every other weekend / every other holiday
No call
Block scheduling not allowed
Floating required within 7 hospitals within skillset

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing, with two attempts on a PC only
New Jersey work history verification requirement: minimum of 1 year prior to start date must be verified, with only 30-day gaps or less

Preferred

First time traveler accepted, but not preferred

Additional Notes

RTO is due at time of submission; RTO after submission is not accepted, and no RTO is allowed within the first week of the start date
Local rate applies to candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
