Ultrasound Technician
Overview
- West Burlington, Iowa
- 13-week contract
- LTA
- Day shift position with one call night every week and every 5th weekend call
- Variable day shift hours
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Completion of formal ultrasound school
- Driver's License
- Experience with general ultrasound
- Experience with abdominal ultrasound
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Experience with fetal ultrasound
- Doppler ultrasound experience
- Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) and Segmental Pressure exams
- Ability to perform Paracentesis
- Ability to perform Thoracentesis
- Ability to perform Biopsies
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for anatomical and physiological structures
- Produce quality images for diagnosis or treatment
- Perform general abdominal sonography, vascular sonography, doppler, ABIs, segmental pressure exams, OB/GYN sonography, and small parts sonography on all populations
- Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for physician use
- Work independently and in a cooperative, teamwork-oriented environment
- Provide exceptional care and customer satisfaction
- Basic computer skills and PACS knowledge
