Description

Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist

Role Overview

Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist working in an Accredited Echo Lab with outpatients, off-campus sites, and inpatients. Hospital coverage includes on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
RDCS or RCS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Echocardiography
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with IV Insertion for Administration of Ultrasound Imaging Enhancement Agents and Bubble Studies

Additional Notes

Diagnostic ultrasound testing includes m-mode, 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, strain imaging, bubble studies, contrast-enhanced transthoracic echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacology stress echocardiograms, imaging for structural heart procedures, and assistance with 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
