Description

CVOR Surg Tech

Overview

Travel assignment in the Operating Room
2 openings
Variable schedule, 5x8
36 guaranteed hours per week
Call as needed by facility
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in Arkansas
CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
Driver's License
Certified Surgical Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

CST certification
Multilingual
Ophthalmology or eye experience

Responsibilities

Maintain the sterile field and patient safety standards during perioperative care
Obtain needed supplies and equipment
Assist the registered nurse during the intraoperative period
Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures
Prepare the operating suite for procedures
Monitor PAR levels of surgical instruments and supplies
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
