Description
Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Dayton, Ohio
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 7:00–17:00, 4x10 hours
- 1 mandatory call shift per week and every fourth weekend
- Fast-paced, high-acuity cath lab
- Level 3 cath lab
- 2 EP labs and 5 cath labs
- About 20 patients per day across all labs
- Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures
- Provides peri-procedural care and education, assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintains procedure records/documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- RCIS or ARRT
- Experience with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Experience with the Watchman device
- Experience with MitraClip
- Experience with electrophysiologic studies, EP mapping and ablation
- Experience with Epic
