Cath Lab
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Dayton, Ohio
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
Unit / Setting
- Fast-paced, high-acuity Cath lab
- 2 EP labs and 5 cath labs
- About 20 patients a day across all labs
- Level 3 Cath lab
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- EP experience
- EPIC familiarity
- MacLab familiarity
Role Responsibilities
- Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography
- Performs electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures
- Provides peri-procedural care and patient education
- Assists cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintains procedure records and documentation
Schedule / Call
- Call once weekly from 1730-0700
- Call every 4th weekend from 0700 Saturday to 0700 Monday
- Potential for one holiday on call for 24 hours
