Cath Lab RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Greensburg, Pennsylvania
13-week assignment
Day shift: 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
On-call includes 1 evening per week and every 4th weekend, Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
Call cases are typically STEMIs or symptomatic NSTEMIs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Experience with cardiac catheterization
Experience circulating and monitoring in the cath lab
Experience working with NSTEMI or STEMI patients
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
Experience with Impella
Experience with Shockwave
Experience with Rotablator
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

First-time travelers are welcome with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
