MRI Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Canton, Ohio
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Friday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Saturday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Sunday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Alternative schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(MR) certification in hand
- AHA BLS in hand at time of submittal
- 2 years of MRI Tech acute care imaging experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
- Experience in an acute care setting
Required Documents / Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check prior to start
- Education verification
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- Monthly HHS/OIG check
- Fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of signed contract
- Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start, then annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask within 12 months of start, then annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months of start
- TB questionnaire if there is a history of past positive TB
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or declination
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Measles immunity documentation
- Mumps immunity documentation
- Rubella immunity documentation
- 10-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- 2 references within 1 year of start
- 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
Notes
- Ohio radiology license not required for MRI Techs
- Medical exemption is acceptable for MMR and Varicella
