RN - OR
Overview
- Travel assignment in Lufkin, Texas
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; start/end times may vary based on cases
- Call: 2 days per week as first or backup, plus 1 weekend per month
- No floating
- No 48-hour shifts
- No block scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- First Assist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub experience
- Confident circulator abilities covering General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics
Unit Details
- OR with 8 regular beds, 2 cysto, 1 endo, and 2 C-section
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital in green
- EMR: PICIS
- Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- Permanent home address must be included on the submission
- SSN must not be included on the sub packet or email
