Overview
- Contract role in Brockton, Massachusetts
- Days, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
- Speech Language Pathologist (3 years of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Master's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
Role Summary
- Provides Speech Language Pathology services to help residents maximize function and independence
- Evaluates and treats communication disorders and dysphagia, including modified barium swallow
- Establishes and updates therapeutic plans of care, documents care, and coordinates with the care team
- Supports Speech and Language coverage and assists with program development, in-services, and routine department operations

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; lifting above 50 pounds requires a 2-person lift
- Frequent lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds
