Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Float / Assignment Scope
- Floats to Med Surg
- Required to float as a sitter
- May float between Mares and Central Campuses
- May float in rotation
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
- Coordinates and reassesses individualized patient care plans
- Administers medications and performs nursing procedures and treatments
- Documents assessments, care, interventions, and patient responses
- Teaches patients and families health information
- Delegates appropriately and oversees non-licensed assistive personnel
- Collaborates with the healthcare team and supports a safe patient environment
