Overview

• Morgantown, West Virginia
• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Unit: 7NE - Ortho/Tele
• 22 total beds
• Ratios: 1:5-6

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS certification
• Strong ortho experience
• Total Joint Replacement experience, not just fractures
• Must submit an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system

Schedule

• Weekend requirement: EOW or 2 weekend shifts per schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Call/standby: unknown

Unit Details

• Ortho/Tele unit
• Common patient types: Ortho - Joints/Replacements/Fractures
• Tele is present on the unit, but RNs do not have to read strips
• Charge nurse available 24/7
• 3 CNAs per shift
• CNA ratio: 1:7-8
• RT/equipment support as needed

Floating

• May float to 7E, 7W, 10W, or 10E

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccination required
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
• Up to 2 candidates per opening may be submitted
• Unit-specific requirements listed in pulse apply
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Unit orientation: 1-2 shifts on the unit
