RN ICU/PCU Mixed Acuity

Unit

  • Mixed-acuity, medically focused unit providing ICU-level and PCU-level care
  • Patient population includes unstable pre-heart transplants, heart failure requiring close monitoring or vasopressor support, acute myocardial infarctions, unstable post-interventional cardiology procedures, post-arrest targeted temperature management, and other patients requiring invasive hemodynamics

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
  • CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

  • Nursing assignments are made on a shift-to-shift basis based on patient acuity and staff skill level
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1 and 2:1 for ICU-level patients, and 3:1 for PCU-level patients

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
