Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Holidays if needed

Assignment Overview

• Float pool assignment covering inpatient units based on competency, including ICU, Step-down, and medical/surgical units
• Med/surg background required
• Step-down preferred
• Telemetry is present on the unit
• RN titration of drips is required in Step-down areas only

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Driver’s license with current permanent address
• Med/surg background

Preferred Qualifications

• Step-down experience

Unit Details

• Ratios vary by unit:

  • Med/surg: 1:6
  • Step-down: 1:4/5
  • ICU: 1-2/3
• Common patient types include cardiac, ortho/neuro, surgical, and medical patients
• Monitor techs are available
• Nurse aides are available
• CPAP and BiPAP can be used on all units
• Vents are in ICU
• Chronic trach vents can go to step-down
