Description

Home Health RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in home health and hospice care
Adult and geriatric patient population
5x8 day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
Average of 6 patients per day
Coverage is in the Nashua, NH area
Occasional weekends as needed
Candidate must have their own transportation; mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Travelers residing within 50 miles receive a rate decrease
First-time travelers may be considered for the right candidate based on homecare experience
One week of pre-approved time off is allowed; other requests are reviewed case by case

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health (2 years of experience)
Home Health experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
Experience with OASIS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with wound care
Experience with IV management
Experience with ostomy care

Schedule / Workflow

Three-day orientation provided
Expected to reach full productivity of 6 patients daily after the first week
Candidate must leave time open for urgent admissions
No on-call requirement

Notes

Candidates who have ever been former employees at any facility associated with Solution Health are not considered
Contract length: 13 weeks

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
