Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Med/Surg (Nights)

Role Summary
- Rehab Med-Surg combines medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury.
- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Vermont
- 2 years of rehabilitation experience
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Med Surg experience
- 3 months or more of total travel experience
- Experience in Charge roles
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN-Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Additional Information
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 to 4/5
- Average daily patient census: 22
- EMR: Cerner
- 8 hours non-billable orientation
- Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed
- Block scheduling will not be considered
- Requested time off must be included at submission and will not be approved after upload, offer, or interview
- Traveler perm address must be included in profile
- Work history, skills checklist, and 1 supervisory signed reference are required for the profile
- After 3 call offs, the contract may be terminated at the facility’s discretion
