Description

Occupational Therapist

Overview

Contract role in Bethel, Alaska
Full-time outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy care
May include work at a local Long Term Care facility
Treats all patient age ranges and diagnoses within Alaska occupational therapy scope of practice
Includes home visits, village travel, and frequent collaboration with medical providers
Day shift
32 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Alaska
BLS
NBCOT
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience is preferred

Housing and Travel

Private housing is not provided
Housing is in shared units
No pets allowed
Airfare is reimbursed after arrival
Flight itinerary must be provided at least 1 week in advance
Returning travelers are not picked up

Onboarding Notes

Traveler may not travel until all credentials have been received and cleared
New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday only

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
