Ortho Surg PCU
Location
Cape Coral, Florida
Schedule
- 12hr Nights
- 36 hours per week
Assignment Details
- 4W Ortho/General Surgical PCU
- 40-bed unit
- Ratios are 4:1 and may flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity
- Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may also float to other sister campuses
- No locals accepted
- Radius rule of 50 miles is enforced
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application; no time off will be approved after submission
- Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start; no exceptions for pending documents
- Culture is very important, and travelers are expected to function like core staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
