Description

CVOR Tech

Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Middletown, Ohio
13 weeks
Day shift, 4x10s, 7:00–17:00
8 OR suites
Start date: 2/16/2026
Call: at minimum 1–2 days a week and at least one weekend a month (Fri–Sun)

Role details

Must have open heart experience
Must be flexible to work all other service lines: general, gyn, vascular, urology, podiatry, ortho, spine
Certified Tech preferred but not required
CVOR team will float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center Campus

Required qualifications

CVOR Technologist (10 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
High school diploma or GED, or graduation from an accredited surgical technology school, or Associate of Arts degree in Surgical Technology
Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients
Open heart surgery experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred

Certified Tech

Floating scope

Open Heart RNs and Surg Techs will flex to float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center

Notes

The assignment may be canceled for 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
