- Night shift
- 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 4x12s may be available
Contract Length

Unit Details
- 29-bed non-aggregated ICU
- Average daily census is approximately 26 patients
- Cares for Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patients
- Specializes in the care and management of high-risk Neuro and Trauma interventions
- Adult and geriatric patient population
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Neuro patients
- Experience working with Surgical patients
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience managing multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD)
- Experience with the Arctic Sun temperature management system
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching hospital experience
- Level I trauma experience
Required Certifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS
Float Scope
- May float to IMC based on facility needs
- May also float within appropriate critical-care areas based on scope and competency
Additional Notes
- Every other weekend is required
- Every other winter and summer holiday are required
- No RTO is approved on hard-to-fill days like Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day
- Local candidates are accepted
- First-timers are accepted
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Cerner is the charting system
