IMC RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Night shift: 3x12, 7p-7a
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

Looking for IMC RNs capable of floating between IMC, ORTHO, and REHAB
Unit includes hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical patients
May care for COVID patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
Mixed Acuity ICU experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Schedule and Assignment Expectations

Every other weekend
No call
Holidays as needed
Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 major holiday periods if the contract spans all 3; if it spans only 2, they are expected to work 1 of 2
Maximum 7 days of requested time off
Must be willing to float between IMC, ORTHO, and REHAB

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
