Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Decatur, Illinois
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- 1:2 days; 1:1 nights and weekends
- Will work every third weekend
- On-call required: one night each week and every 3rd weekend
- Will float if needed
- Block scheduling is accepted
- Locals are accepted with no radius
- First-timers are accepted only with significant cath lab experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience with ASD closures
- Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
- Experience with cardiac stent placement
- Experience with diagnostic catheterizations in adults
- Experience with IABP placement and removal
- Experience with Impella insertion
- Experience with interventional catheterizations
- Experience with left heart catheterization
- Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal
- Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Experience with Cerner
