Pharmacist

Overview

Travel role in Muskogee, Oklahoma
13-week contract
40 hours per week
5x8-hour shifts, including weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Oklahoma
Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
Pharmacist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Details

Works in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy
Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies
Interprets medication orders and prepares pharmaceutical products according to pharmacy practice standards
Supervises technical support staff
Supports patient care for Adult and Geriatric populations
Must be able to enter a minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift
Maintains aseptic technique and pharmacy security, including controlled substances
Reviews patient profiles for safe drug therapy and helps prevent drug interactions and adverse reactions
Participates in performance improvement, clinical/quality management, education, and drug information activities

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
