Description
Emergency Department RN
Role
- RN in the Emergency Department and Critical Care
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift, 7pm to 7am
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- No call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- CPI
- NIHSS
Unit Details
- Emergency Department
- 20 beds plus 3 Behavioral beds within a locked unit and 2 Triage rooms
- Patient ratio: 4:1 to 5:1
- Standard Emergency Care equipment
- EPIC EMR
Additional Information
- Education modules are required through the education department
- The unit is under construction and workflow changes may occur
- Team-based environment with a need for flexibility, excellent communication, and documentation skills
