Cath Lab
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Bend, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- 40 hours per week
- Census: 10
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with neuro-intervention procedures
- Experience with vascular interventions
- Experience with structured heart exams
- Experience with conscious sedation on adults
- Experience with non-invasive diagnostic procedures for cardiovascular assessment
Preferred
- Epic charting preferred
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
- Perform Neuro-intervention, Vascular, and Structured heart exams
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring on Cath lab specific equipment
- Perform conscious sedation on adults following policies and guidelines
- Perform diagnostic hemodynamic monitoring and other Non-Invasive Diagnostic Procedures to assess the Cardiovascular System
- Assist in recovery of Cath Lab patients as needed in SSU or PACU
Schedule Notes
- On-call required: 1–2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Does not float within scope to meet facility needs
- Local candidates not accepted; 75-mile rule applies
- RTO restriction: 7 days
