Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 48 hours per week
- Ratios: 1:4–5
- 17 beds, plus up to 8 hall beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience with management of dysrhythmias
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Preferred
- Open to accommodating block schedule
Assignment Details
- Adult Admission Inpatient Unit next door to the Emergency Department
- Fast-paced admission unit that receives admitted patients from the Emergency Department
- Functions like an Emergency Department holding unit
- Patient population includes all specialties except ICU level patients
- Floats next door to ED for admitted patients, to ICU for SAC assignment, and to any inpatient PCU area
- Relief charge may be required
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
