PT Home Health

Overview

Travel/contract role in Home Health
Location: Gloucester, Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Territory: Northern Neck
Report location: Gloucester, VA
Home health setting with home visits and periodic office meetings

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience in a Home Health setting
Driver's License

Preferred / Additional Details

Home Health experience is the stated focus for this assignment
First-timers not accepted
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Weekend and on-call expectations vary by location and profession
Some western territory positions may use a Baylor shift schedule of 4x10s, Friday–Monday
Standard schedule for most positions is 5x8s, Monday–Friday

Assignment Details

Average patient load: 5–6 patients per day
Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
Travel expectation: about 200 miles per week

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
