X Ray-Tech

Overview

• Role: X Ray-Tech
• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ARRT
• WV State License
• Experience with c-arm and fluoro
• Must provide an unexpired driver’s license copy with submission
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility

Department Details

• Department has 5 scanners/rooms
• Performs XR and OR (c arm) fluoro
• No floating to other areas
• Average volume is 400 scans/studies per day
• Uses Epic and Fuji Synapse
• Equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC c-arms
• No RRA’s
• Radiologist in-house 24/7 with residents
• Does not start IVs
• Weekend work required
• Holiday work may be required
• No call or standby
• Scrubs are provided
• Department-specific orientation is provided

Submission Notes

• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
• Up to 2 candidates per opening may be submitted
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility will not provide it
