Special Procedures Technologist
Overview
- Location: West Burlington, Iowa
- Employment type: LTA
- Shift: Days, 07:00 - 15:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Works in the Heart and Vascular Center operating stationary radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Performs X-ray procedures, Fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
- Expected to work independently and collaboratively in a teamwork-oriented department and hospital-wide environment.
- Requires strong patient care and customer satisfaction skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Special Procedures Technologist license in Iowa
- 2 years of Special Procedures Technologist experience
- Special Procedures Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Driver's License
- Experience with X-ray procedures
- Experience with Fluoroscopy
- Experience with vascular procedures
- Experience with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Experience with Epic
