Home Health RN

Overview

Role: Home Health RN
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30)
Hours per week: 40
Schedule note: 1 out of every 6 weekends
Service area: Bergen and Passaic counties
RTO: Minimal RTO considered, 5 days or less

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Home Health experience within the last year
1 year of Home Health experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with IVs and Cardiac care

Preferred

Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap

Additional Notes

Travelers are expected to complete 4–5 visits within an 8-hour shift and manage time accordingly to avoid overtime.
Mileage reimbursement is provided for driving between visit locations, with specific rules for first and final visits of the day.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
