Pediatric Transport RN
Role Overview
- Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN
- Travel/Contract assignment in Seattle, Washington
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend required
- No call required
Setting and Float Scope
- Based in the NICU / PICU / Peds environment
- May float to cover as a bedside nurse in NICU, PICU, or Peds units
Key Responsibilities
- Support ground transportation needs in the Seattle area
- Work with the transportation team of RT and the advanced practice provider
- Transport infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, ERs, and L&D/NICU to Swedish First Hill for a higher level of care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- Transport experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience
Additional Notes
- Start date: ASAP
- Perm candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
