Labor and Delivery

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Voorhees, New Jersey.
13-week assignment.
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00.
36 hours per week.
Level III high risk facility.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

EPIC charting.

Unit / Float Details

Will float to High Risk OB as needed; HROB includes 16 rooms and cares for early inductions, antepartum, and patients on continuous monitoring.
May also float to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals within scope of practice.
EOW/EOH.
Block scheduling considered but not guaranteed.

Additional Notes

RTO is due at time of submission.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
