Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Location: Joliet, Illinois
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week
- Call: rotating call, 2 days/week and 1 weekend/month
- On-call required
Role Summary
- Cardiac Cath Lab Tech that does Interventional and Cath Lab Radiology
- Assists with scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab
- Prepares procedure rooms, monitors instruments and supplies, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and helps train new staff
- Assists in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- DCI/BVP
- Driver's License
- Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist)
- Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department
