Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Day and night shifts
• Rotating shift: 8a–4:30p / 9:30a–6:00p
• Call rotation
• Weekend call required
• No holiday requirement

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMS- AB) via ARDMS Verification
• Breast certification
• ARDMS required
• Must submit an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• RVT preferred

Department Details

• 4 scanners/rooms
• No float/coverage to other areas
• Average volume: 12–14 scans/studies per day
• Common studies include general US, abdominal studies, vascular studies, early OB, OB anatomy, BPP, and TV
• No RRA’s
• No in-house radiologist
• No IV starts required

Additional Submission Notes

• Only 1 submission at a time across the WVU system
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
• Up to 2 candidates per opening
• Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
