Physical Therapist: Out-Patient Rehab Center

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Freehold, New Jersey
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No weekends
• No holidays
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
• Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Experience working with Orthopedics patients
• Experience working with Neuro patients
• Experience working with Stroke patients
• Experience working with Spinal Cord Injury patients
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
• Experience in a(n) Skilled Nursing setting
• Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
• Experience caring for joint replacement patients
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Pelvic floor certification
• Vestibular experience

Clinical Setting

• Out-Patient Rehab Center
• Care settings include acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Unit ratio: 1:2
• Patient population: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics

Skills and Experience Focus

• Ortho rehab: body mechanics, orthopedics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip replacement, total knee replacement
• Neuro rehab: cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury
• Patient education: home exercise program, patient family education

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccine required; religious and medical exemptions accepted
• RTO, block, and scheduling requests must be included at time of submission
