CCU
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Sidney, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:30–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
- Every other weekend commitment
- Float scope: Med Surg
Experience
- 2 years of CCU experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- CCU - Coronary Care (1 year of experience)
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- State license verification
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify proof or attestation
- 7-year criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- BCI fingerprinting
- Fingerprint attestation/instructions
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- N95 fit test within the past 12 months
- Tdap within 10 years of start date or facility declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization or acceptable titer/declination documentation
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- References within 2 years of start
- Employment application/resume
- Skills checklist
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
- Pass/fail testing acknowledgement
Preferred
- PALS
- TNCC
- Flu vaccination documentation or declination is preferred only and does not hold up start
